First Macro Shots - Chicago Botanical Garden

Well I got over 150 shots, but these 3 I think are the cream of the crop.. it was my first time with a macro lens so let me know if I made any rookie mistakes on these.. and holy DOF batman, macro can be tough to keep things in focus!

Great shots. I love the first one the best.

They're all very good. The colors are great and they're framed well.

For the first one, I would like to see it cropped just a little bit less tightly. I like the green in the upper left of that image. If there was a little more of that all around, I think it would be framed that much better. But that's just me. :)

I'm quite envious of the great shots people are getting with their macro lenses. Maybe I'll treat myself at Christmas. :)

#1 seems to have a slight DOF problem. It needed to be slightly deeper, it is a little annoying to look at now.
