Off Camera Flash / Softbox Question

Hey everyone, I'm looking to get into off camera flash. Ive been doing some research and decided I want to get a softbox/stand/and all the attachments I would need so my 430EXII will be able to work. I was just wondering if this packaged deal includes everything I need other than a stand (it looks like it but I'm not 100%). If someone who has experience or proper knowledge could take a quick look and let me know if I would be good to go if I purchased this package ( http://www.amazon.com/Westcott-Apollo-Speedlite-Mount-Strobes/dp/B002GXMH7I/ref=pd_cp_p_3 ) and a stand, it would be greatly appreciated. 7 foot stand is short in my opinion.
I ordered, tested and returned the Westcott softbox.
It was a royal pain in the A** to setup and get the flash positioned.

The idea is good, its just that the execution is poor.

Also I will add other than missing a stand you would still need some method of triggering the flash off camera .
