I think it turned out great! I know how difficult it is to shoot concert/band photos. Were you using a flash at all? maybe if you went to 1/125 or 1/250 and increased the fill light during PP it might have come with less distortion in his hand? Just throwing out Ideas because I'm still learning as well. I do plan on getting better though. My friend's band have asked me to take pics at every show, so knowledge, here I come!

A little flash yes, dialled down. Good sign you had to ask.
The motion blur on the fingers was an intentional thing, thanks for responding my friend.

boy, those little 50mm lenses are just razor sharp. Nice shot! As a guitarist, players watching their guitar while they play bugs the s**t out of me. Is it going somewhere?!!!

Really nice job. I'll be picking some nits now: The green on his leg is mildly distracting. The two small dot hot spots near the Marshall amp could be cloned out and the white near his right shoulder is also an unneccessary distraction. As I said though, really nice job and remember the above suggestions are minor things. Keep up the good work. Jeff
