Using monoculars?

Does anyone have experience with the EagleEye or CrystalOptic monoculars? I am looking for something to use in shots of wild birds and other nature shots. Have the Oly B300, but it frequently is not enough.

I know there may be vignetting with any of these. I am interested in the extent of vignetting and image degradation.

I'm also curious to hear fom anyone who's used these, as well. I agree that 2X adapters are often not enough- but the Eagle Eye is pricey enough to consider getting a whole new camera (and not a G2, which has the same telephoto limitations). Supposedly, the results are similar to the Sony S70.
