i do not mind if it is canon or not. I am looking for a Fast shot to shot time for my son... it has to be non dslr...

not sure where to look for one like that it seems to be a parameter that is buried in the wordy review... or hidden by being called something else...
i am not here to start an argument i truly need a camera that works... as far as i am concerned i have an XSi/450D so i am covered but my son wants / needs something that is pocket-able and robust as he is a mountain biker...
thanks in advance for this

Pocketable, and fast? Nope. Not unless he wants one of the "30 fps" Exilim jobbies from Casio. They actually collect a burst but you have to select the shot(s) you want to keep, IIRC. And I have no idea how sturdy they are. Fastest Canon PowerShot is the SX1, at 4 fps.

Thanks for the info... 30fps is probably not needed... but the fast ones seem to be from Casio... the SX1 IS is very interesting... but not exactly pocket-able... what else is there, that well, does between 1.9/2 fps to 5 or 6 fps? hope that narrows the field a bit... and i know that pocket-able is high on his list... thanks again i will tell him of this one...
