My 20d has been shutting down at the least opportune times lately. I have a BG-E2 battery pack inserted in the camera. I thought at first I had 1 or both batteries loosing power quickly. Today the batteries had been charged just last night and these were the first two or three clicks on the new charge. I took the grip out and reinserted, took the batteries out and reinserted...nothing but a blinking battery icon on the screen. replaced the batteries with two fresh and reinserted the grip and everything is fine...for now. I checked the voltage of the two batteries that I removed . one was 7.8 volts and the other 8.2 volts...both well above the specified 7.4 volts.... anybody have any clues to my problem?? Possibly the camera ?... I checked the contacts for problems/cleanliness...........help!!
