God, the title of this thread sounds horrible. Shooting kids, huh.

Setup:
Canon EOS 7D
Canon Speedlite 580EX with omnibouncer
Well... that's it.

This was probably my most difficult experience ever. In a good way. They are 4 and 7 years old, never met them before. They weren't shy at all though, which helped me a little. However, they could't be still for a second. Luckily I own a 7D. Anyway, here are some shots from the session:

Welcome to POTN!

I like the jumping shot, but I think the third one is my favorite. Do you happen to have that shot with him all the way in the frame?

Thank you, solinger!
About the third shot, I was just lucky to snap that one. He was at that position for approximately five seconds or less, so I had to take it as quickly as possible. That's why he's cut in half. I'd also like to have it the way you're talking about. Too bad!

Thats a really good set and agree the 3rd is the best of them, very arty looking! :)

Yep, pretty good results. I just 'shot' two kids last weekend and experienced the same thing. Boys, 5 and 8 with slinkys in exremeties! man, they never stop, do they?!

Good diversity of your shots as well.

Thanks everyone for your comments, it's really appreciated! The mother was really happy with the result, so I guess it was kind of successful!
