I like the way her eyes came out in picture #1 and his expression in #2.

LOL, that little guy is great! Great lighting in #1 as well and I agree on the eyes. Some very photogenic children there!

Hi Sam, Great photos as usual. I think that like my grandchildren she is getting to the point where the camera in the face is getting old. :D The little one on the other hand is just getting into it. I think you have a few more years with him.:D

The lighting in these are perfect and the colors are vibrant. What did you use for your lighting? I always have trouble with indoors pics.

Thank you, Maureen! Where are your pictures of the grandchildren?

Yes, you're right. She doesn't act silly for me anymore when I bring the camera out. I posted a shot recently where I ran into her room with the camera and asked her to make a silly face, I got a sarcastic glare with her lips pursed together  She is too cool now.

Thanks for the feedback.

Thank you. I used my flash bounced off the ceiling in the first shot, but it was on the off camera cable and I held it up way over our heads.

For the second one I was cleaning my office closet and found a little bounce umbrella and since I knew Lexi would sit still longer I used that one. I had to take about four shots of her before I got one I liked. I was hand holding the flash and the umbrella in my left hand behind me about her face level. Not very technical :)
