Hi, my first post in this forum. Based on the reviews here, I bought a Tamron 28-75/F2.8 lens two days ago. I know there are "good" or "bad" copies for this lens. So I took some test shots to compare with my other canon lens.

In my opinion, F2.8 seems very soft. F5.6 and F8 seem OK but not excellent.
Do you guys think it is a good copy (I'll keep it) or a bad copy ( I'll return it and ask for another copy). Thanks.

I did the test using the ruler with far smaller measurements. Check for a similar post that I had created for lens tests.

Gave a noticeable difference between the 18-55 Canon and the 28-75 Tamron.

Think the real test is with actual photos in the field. They look pretty good to me, but I would like to see some real snaps.
