Welcome on your first post. You've already gone far beyond many first-time posters by actually managing to get your image to appear. If you go into you user profile, you can check okay to image editing. That will grant permission to others to work on your image and post their results. It's far better than words.

This is a compelling image in an artistic sense. It's a little dark. However, I must ask, what kind of advice and help do you seek? Were you trying for some other effect?

it is dark but it works, it is tilted to the left though and maybe a tighter crop on the top and bottom...:) looks good though and welcome!

Well in the first one you had your camera set to "portrait" mode. The first step would be learning how ISO, aperture, and shutter speed relate to each other and affect the image. There are lots of stickies in the various forums here, or there are books available to purchase. Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson is probably the most often recommended.

When I first scrolled down on no1, I thought yikes! However on overcoming my initial repulsion, it works very well and could be ideal as a postcard, poster etc.

These are a good start!
Although if you've got new images that you'd like critique on, make a new post. Otherwise, they are getting lost in only one post

I put the brightness slider way up and then it look a lot more interesting IMHO.

Minus the tilt, I love the first image, I love the gradient of light sky to dark/black bottom and how the Mosque almost melts into the darkness at the bottom. The second image doesn't do anything for me, composition is ok I guess but the depth of field is too narrow and the image is too soft for my tastes. I love the the third. Also, I much prefer the original to that edited version of the first image.

If you are seriously brand new to photography keep with it! You have such a good natural eye for it, I have to work every second to better myself, you seem naturally good.

I really like your first shot. There's a real dark, mystic atmosphere about it. It looks like a spectacular building (mosque?) and I would like to see it in daylight.

I thought it was but couldn't be sure. It's on my 'hit list' for the near future and your shot is 'noted' for future reference! :)

I really like the 1st one. As others have said just try and straighten everything up. You can do it in post, but its nice to just get it right when you are shooting. I'm not sure if your camera has this, but on mine you can have a grid on the view finder which is helpful to line everything up.

2nd one. Meh. I might try a little bit deeper DoF to get more of it in focus. Also while the BG is OOF think about what colors you want. Personally I think the grey is sorta boring and it would be better with a blue sky (Just and example) BG instead.

3rd. I love the emotion that it shows. Great capture there. :)

Great first shot except for the bird/mark next to the main dome
