No, they are not that bad. It looks as if you are getting some spill from the white background or the PP. Move them farther away from the background.

I like some of the poses.... babies are so sweet.
I always try to keep baby's face really close to the parents so they don't get lost in the mix. IF baby's expression is less than pleasant.. I take some time for soothing and comforting in order to have a more peaceful result.
You did pretty well for your first time. the wee ones can be difficult to work with, and with time and practice.... and tons of patience, it becomes easier.
I do think it looks like you painted over your backgrounds in post... and it is spilling onto the subjects hair and faces...
If you would like to post an unedited copy, we can show you a trick or two and maybe help out... Unless your background is so busy that you were forced to paint it out...? I'm no photoshop pro, but I can work my way around a couple of things.. lol..
Anyway.. keep on posting... we love seeing babies!! :)

I appreciate the help. I used the dodge tool and got a little sloppy. all the white started to blur together after a while. I also couldnt use my backdrops cause they are hung in my garage and it was a bout 15 degrees.
Here is a fixed one and then a couple before
