I have been looking at the MTF charts :confused: :confused: :confused: and badly need therapy :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: I have been reading

Seriously though.....all canon's MTF's

have the 30l/mm thin blue line but this lens hasn't - has Canon deliberately omitted it ( cos it's crap??) or accidentally. or be there another reason?
As I understand it - this is probably ther most important line on the MTF as it shows resolution rather than just contrast.. but I'm still trying to get the hang of this MTF malarky..
So why would they leave it off the 17-40 MTF??
