Looks a tad soft in the center, which is where it draws me in. Also, in my opinion, the crop is a little too tight. Colors are really good, although it might be a smidge underexposed.

How much did you adjust the contrast in PP? It's quite apparent in the top left hand corner. I agree the center is a tad underexposed. Try reading up on some macro topics.

I agree with Scottdog too. There's no real sharpness to the photo.

Why the bump? Its too overstaurated, blurry, the crop is not complementary. Find another subject :D

The subject has potential for me. Yet while the bright green background for a bright orange flower arrests my eye, the image doesn't hold it. I generally think of a flower as a pretty, gentle thing, and wouldn't crop so close (as expressed above). I'd too would be more subtle with the PP. But then the artist may have something else in mind. Is the lack of sharpness ( I can't call it softness in this case) caused by heavy cropping? I don't see where the camera focused.

Maybe a reflector/white card underneath to get some more light on the main subject could help just a thought!!
