Hi Photoshop experts,

I need some serious help. I had a large family photo shoot this weekend and there are two things I did wrong (that I know of). One, I had my aperature setting wrong (I was thinking in reverse-not good), and as I bent down to pet a family dog, her wet nose just barely touched my lense (which had a filter on it) and I didn't notice it until I got home and noticed a lot of blur on my pictures!!!

Anyway, one such photos that's blurry is below. I was wondering if there's anyway to fix this in Photoshop. They were all taken in RAW if that helps any. It would be near to impossible to ask the family to gather everyone together again for a retake :-(

This one is just out of focus. Anything I can do with this in Photoshop?

Thanks in advance!!!!!

Stick with small 4X6" to 5X7" prints along with some PS sharpening. Most people won't notice if you're careful. (Some won't notice if you're not!)
The 1st one, do about a 40 pixel feathered selection of the soft area, copy it to a new layer, and try some aggressive sharpening to bring it into line with the rest of the pic. Then merge it with the copy you made (you did, didn't you?) of the background layer & resharpen the whole thing after you size it for printing.

There is a tutorial regarding advanced Sharpenning Techniques. This might help you.
