Just delivery of a 7D, been messing around a little indoors Play back looks impressive on the camera. But a little disapointed when played back on a HD TV. I only have the video lead, will it improve with HD lead. I hope to use it for wildlife.

the resolution and aspect ratio changes as you hook up to TV.

When hooked up to an HD TV with a composite connection (usually the yellow RCA plug) it will look pretty disappointing.

Connect it with a mini HDMI to HDMI cable and the story will be very different.

The HDMI cable is not included with the 7D normally so you might try the Component set (red, green, and blue connectors) which will give you something in between HDMI and Composite.

I don't think I got the red, green and blue. I hope to take a few wild life films I have the 300mm 2.8 plus converters. I have a lot to learn so it good to have folks with the knowledge thats willing to share it.
