A Cobra built by Las Vegas Performance Roadsters, of course. ;)
Here's what makes it GO. A 5.0 liter Supercharged engine.

Here's a secure mount for your video cam to record your "E" ticket ride.

Chuck told me for a mere $60 K I could be the proud owner of one just like this. Hmm, it IS a lot cheaper than a Ford GT, and I'm betting just as much fun. ;)

That looks like a camera mount on the rollbar behind the driver's right shoulder.

Beauty of a car. My neighbor has a replica down the street :\
And I have seen some real nice ones driving around. They look like so much fun.

Thanks Dan & Jackal.I bet that would be a riot to drive
GAWD, I guess!
I just did a quick power to weight breakdown and came up with one horsepower to push every four point eight pounds. That's some SERIOUS power to weight ratio for a street driven car!
In FACT, that's treading on "Super Bike" power to weight ratios.

Ohyeah.. those Cobras had an absolutely irresponsible amount of power under the hood!
You could pass pretty much anything on the road.. sideways...

Its a Hama roll bar camera mount .
You can easily make one with bogen 3025 or 3437 3d head

I remember attending the first all Cobra race at Watkins Glen. Funny as hell to see a dozen cars trying to get off the line without spinning out. Lots of doughnuts that weekend.

0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds while still in first gear...
With a 427 that Redlines at 7000 RPM, I should think so. ;)
The Cobra still has the Vet beat in terms of power to weight ratios though.
4.8 LBS per Horse for the Cobra.
6.2 LBS per Horse for the Vette.
I think there is some strong competition brewing.
Thanks for that interesting tidbit. :D

As much as I love my Vette, I would trade it in a heartbeat for a well-made Cobra replica... something about those cars just oozes sex.

Ugh! I'm gonna be sick. That's just down right cruel. I love the Cobra and everything that looks like a Cobra. Thanks for posting. . . . now I'm depressed.

Yeah, The Cobra is one of my Faves, and trust me, I know the feeling about lust for this car. ;)

Great car, Bruce! My all time choice for a fun car to have, except that no one would want to run against it! ;-)

I have the same camera mount on my car. By the way, mine's the inexpensive one on the right. lol I like to think of the Cobra as my Miata's big sister...ok, that may be a bit of a stretch...
The Cobra will be mine one day...yes, yes it will...

Thanks Frank, I think the ratio of fun per mile is WAY up there. ;)
Chuck, The owner of this car, actually races this one. I think He mentioned Willow Springs. (I must take notes.)
I can only imagine what an "Adrenallin" Rush it would be to push this car around the track at speed.

They can be. I won two St. Louis Regional CSP Championships, and placed second in a few National events with her. My friend (RIP) had a blue Miata with white stripes...just like mine only blue, and we turbocharged his. I autoxed it a couple of times, and my neck hurt at the end of the day from the acceleration...pretty crazy. Here's my meager "ode to my car (http://hobbystage.net/miata/lola/)" page.

Dweezil, I think it's time to innoculate yourself against this "disease"! If you don't trade it in for a nice VW (NOT a Mini!), you soon won't have any money left for "L"s! :D:D:D
