Yosemite - Vernal Falls

Here are a couple pictures of Vernal Falls in Yosemite that I took while hiking up the mist trail. They were taken on 5-21-05. Comments welcome. :) There was sooo much water flowing over the falls that day... one of the heaviest days I've seen in Yosemite.

I have never seen so much water coming over the falls! I think the tree in the centre of the pictuer in #1 is a mistake.

Yes... so much water! The valley was completely closed just a few days earlier due to flooding. Ther Merced river covered the roads in many areas.

Yeah, the tree can be distracting. Personally, I like it... partly I think because I've hiked past there just about every year since I was bout 10 years old and, I never really noticed that view before...
