Two pictures from the weekend. I was shooting some cloud formations when this thing pasted over head and against my better judgement I shot the image. I quite like the picture . . . but I am not a huge fan of the company represented.

I kind of like the effect of this one, I was more interested in getting images of the hail tht came with the downpour but I want to work on getting better examples of this type of shot . . . I think I have a ways to go.

The first I'd crop as there is a lot of empty space to the right of the image
I find the second an interesting image, was it taken outside or through a window? - What were your settings?
Cheers

The second was taken outside under a patio roof so the camera was protected from the rain.

I disagree. Making the image centered will make it less interesting in this case, IMO.

That was my thought as well, I think it give better prespective of the image. IMO

Nice shots!
#1 If you have some more room around it, I think I might rotate it some more & see how that looks.
#2 Seems to lose some context by being on B&W? Think I'd rather see green leaves, white hail, & gray, threatening sky?

That was pretty much full frame so there isn't much room to rotate it without losing the top portion.
there is not a heck of a lot of difference between b/w and color in this one. I went to b/w just to enrich the greys in the water.
