I know the eneloops are the most recommended rechargeable batteries for flashes, but Sanyo also makes a 2700 mAh, while the Eneloops are only 2000 mAh, would the other 2700 ones from Sanyo also be just as good as the Eneloops, but at 2700 mAh?
Also, what's a good battery charger to use, other then the ones from Sanyo

2700's are not ultra low discharge batteries. unlike the eneloop, they discharge when stored for a period of time.

Stick with the Eneloops, that ultra low discharge is a wonderful thing.

I have had the HR-3U's for about a year and have been very pleased, discharge rate and otherwise. If you expect to use them, rather than look at them sitting on the shelf (:)), I'd recommend the HR-3U's.

NO!
the 2000mAh beat any 2700+ all the way around. just say no to anything not eneloop unless it's an emergency.
your eneloops will not only be nearly full charged a few months later, while your others will die in less than a week, fully...but you get mega crazy flashes before you even have to recharge. and recycle times are ridiculously quick with eneloops. why the hell would you want 2700, so you can show off a bigger number label to friends, even though it means squat?
i use the maha 9000 charger. that kicks ass.
