I've been following a couple threads where people are having a difficult time finding a 420ex speedlight pdf manual in english. What I'd like to know is if I take the time and create a pdf file from my 420ex manual would people want it? I'm willing to do the work but only if people want the file.

Can't help you with that one. I have a 420ex so I figured I'd make a pdf file with Acrobat from my manual.

Yes please, I'd like one. Sometimes easier to find a manual stored on your computer than having to go hunt it out from a box somewhere.

A better quality one would be great, that looks good printed. So yes, I'd take one! :)

I suppose those aren't too bad but the crummy thing about it is that there are two pages scanned at a time per page in the file. I would make it so that each page in the pdf file is a page from the manual. That way the printing would be a better resolution. I noticed in those files that when zoomed in on the make it a comfortable size to read the lettering is too distorted.

Don't worry about spoiling anything. I would have just done it to help out but you saved me the work. Excellent! Thanks Lotto. :) I'll save this anyway just in case the link goes down or something. You never know.
