This is my first post in this section, but I'm trying to get into photographing people as well as bugs. :D This was a very impromptu session with my neighbot's little girl today. C&C please?

Given the limitations of photographing kids (These are obviously not posed), I think you did a good job. I find them to be just a smidge too cool (or perhaps desaturated).

Also, since you have a 5OD, I wouldn't limit yourself to shooting ISO100. You could quadruple your shutter speed by going up to ISO400 and not worrying about noise. I think that would work better at stopping kids in their tracks! :)

Good for an impromptu session - you might get slightly better results, though, by metering for the background and using a speedlight for fill flash.
