maybe keep the detail in the sky and bring out shadows at the bottom part.

What happened with the tires? One is pointing at 7 o clock, and one is pointing at 6....

your contrast is to high on this and is blowing out the details. In both the dark and light.
So your sky has no detail and the car has no detail.

I think the hood of the car should be straight....not tilted...

since there isnt much for color in this shot..maybe a B&W would be better?

I think the curved tires give the car a personality, as if it was an animated car from the movie "Cars." Straightening the hood in the image would make it solid, as well as a slightly less saturated blue of the sky. The left hand sky blue becomes something of a focal point in the image.

If you shot in raw you can try creating a faux HDR out of this to get your details back in the clouds.

I like the composition and the "Top Gear" kind of style, but the sky is just too blown out.

cool...I would agree, the sky is blown out and it draws to much attention, unless that is what you wanted. I am confused. The lowerleft hand corner where the sky meets the the farm? Meadow? I would have made the black shine a bit more.
