just want to make sure that the rs-80n3 is the one I want for the 7D.

cant find anywhere that says it is for the 7D..... but I am sure it is...

While I'm sure it's a great product that one isn't a Canon RS-80N3. Lots go for a non-Canon remote to save some $ though and the one from the POTN shop has been modified so you don't need to use the ultra expensive Canon extension cord.
