A trend? Don't know.

From an article of the same name:

Wow. That contract looks like it came out of a form book, or it was prepared by a Reader's Digest attorney who was having a bad day and slanted it entirely to Reader's Digest's benefit.

There are many things wrong with it from the photographer's perspective, but paragraph 5 is particularly troublesome because it essentially says that you promise your photos are original, do not infringe the copyright of another person, and are not libelious, etc. If that statement turns out not to be true at any time during the contract, you could be sued. How do you know that there is not some photo out there somewhere that is similar and that someone may consider it "infringing"? You don't. The way to tone this down is to add "to the best of my knowledge as of the date of this agreement."

Greetings!

Received an order for photography related products (prints/canvases). I did go thru some of the links posted above for an apt Order Form, Invoice Form and Estimation Form -- some of the links do not have the details and are broken too.
Any help or inputs would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,

This post is almost two years old. I'm not surprised some of the links are broken. Unfortunately, that's the nature of the web. You can't always depend upon people maintaining their sites.

For help, I guess the best thing to do would be to contact the people/person at LightStalkers.org (the originator of the piece) and see if they have any updates.

Welcome to POTN, Hema!
