s2 underwater housing

Does anyone know if canon is going to introduce a housing for the S2? If not did they intro the housing for the S1 when the camera came out? I realllllly would like to get a housing for general pool, shallow snorkling, and fun with the kids. I am debating getting an older model with a housing if I cannot find one for the s2.

i asked canon officials about the underwater case for the s2, and they answered...

"There isn't an underwater case for the PowerShot S2 IS. At this moment
there is no information available regarding a new product announcement
in this category. We recommend you check our website
(www.powershot.com (http://www.powershot.com/)) from time to time to learn of new product
announcements in the U.S. market."

so we must wait some more...


andy, in the link you sent i didn't understand if i can use the ewa-marine products for the powershot s2...:confused:
