Old Jacob the Sheep

While I was out in the pasture trying to shoot the birds , my sheep came up to me. This guy is, as near as I can figure, is coming close to around 22-25 yrs of age!!!
The dogs that started training to herd on him are long gone to the rainbow bridge. :( But, Jacob lives on!
He is very healthy--has not had teeth for at least 10 or 12 years--but seems to be able to manage without them.
Absolutely no one can believe he is still around. He is a mystery.
Quite a character he is. Every winter I think it will be his last--but not so!!!

He is a breed of sheep called Jacob Horn.

He is definitely a mystery. If he were an ordinary looking sheep he would have been gone long ago--but he is a pretty good looker--even at his age!
