This image was taken tonight. Perfect temperature but the Aurora was sluggish and weak. This is a blending of 2 images. Otherwise the lights from the bridge would have been to bright. Removed the noise in Topaz Denoise that I bought yesterday

This is a short drive of approx. 45 minutes on very icy roads. I tried my regular places, but the Aurora was hitting the mountain tops and didn't look any good due to being slow and weak. This area is the last land before hitting the US East coast ;)
I also crossed the bridge and did a 4 image panorama. Amazing what you do when you are bored :)

Beautiful pano Helge, I'd like to see if it would be able to be a bit brighter. Maybe it's the school's monitor but it looks very dark

That is as bright I could get it without bringing out too much noise. It was very dark and only snow on the mountains, so very little help there. I will do the same shot when we get more snow. That will show of the small islands in this area. I have never been right here before so I will repeat that.
That #2 shot is a killer also Helge !
Thank you

Good point, now that I'm at home I can see it a bit better.

I can see what you mean about the noise too, that's a pity :( I can't remember what to call noise like that but in the right hand corner it's particularly hard to control when that sort of banding begins to occur. Makes printing high a hard time.

I like it though :)

It is always nice to see the Aurora. You just have to come up and visit. I am going to show a guy from Brazil around in middle of February

This winter have hardly had any snow at all. So I didn't know that I would ever say this but I miss the snow :)
