Some shots I took at the weekend - I wondered if the mower was used for chopping down the poppies?

Nice shots, but what else do you expect from a true red.

I'm glad you managed to get out for the 4 day UK summer.

The poppy shot is very good, i especially like the way you've captured it from the background. For me to get that kind of shot i would have to the country side where they seem to be.

Lovely photos Damian. I do love the mower in the field of poppies. :) One has to wonder why it was left there, it certainly looks like the plants grew up around it. :lol: :lol:

Maybe it ran out of petrol and the owner had wandered off to fill a can and never came back? :)

Since 1968, lived around the corner and went to school with Crazy Horse, but only mange to get to the home of the gods once or twice a season.

I just renewed my season ticket yesterday. COuld have got a nice lens for that!
