I have been reading some of the feedback and I have learned a few things by the imput. I would love to get your imput on some of my work....I will post more as days go on. My pics are basically portrait shots and most if not all have been worked in post. Used a Rebel xti..forget the lens..

The first one is too hot, it looks like he got nuked in the microwave. There's also something really funky with the texture - it's like noise, but different, very weird. Compression problem or something, I guess.

The second is better as far as lighting but I'm not sure about the crop. Is that a montage or is he whispering sweet nothings in his ear? ;-)

LOLOL..love the nuke coment thanks..the first one was a deliberate choice regarding noise and contrast. The second one was a montage of the same guy...thanks

Sorry, #1 is way way way overdone. Maybe try another version that shows some restraint.

#2 This crop is screwy and was it your intention to make it look like he's whispering into his own ear? If so, I don't get it. What's the hidden meaning your going for?
