I was thinking the toploader 75 with the harness setup seems really neat for skiing.

One review on amazon cautioned that the bag is no good for anyone over 6' or with waist size > 38".

Anyone big and tall use this bag. When I'm fully geared up for skiing (heavy clothes), I'm even bigger. Also, besides skiing any other good uses for the harness?

For big glass a good alternative to Lowepro are Kinesis:

Though I find their dedicated modular system does get a bit fiddly with straps and buckles all over the place, but as a stand alone I prefer their cases for stuff like a 300 2.8 than the Lowepro equivalent

Nice bunch of guys as well to deal with
