Any thoughts on Sigma 28-135mm f3.8/5.6 ASPHERICAL MACRO

Im very very strapped for cash but would like a larger zoom for my 350d.
I like the kit lens but would like a longer reach so im looking at the above.
I know its not a great choice but im not looking to improve on the quality, just the range (till i can afford it)
After the summer ill have cash to get something much better but i only have a max of £150 now and dont want to miss out on pics of the kids during the summer

Failing that 7dayshop.com is cheap as chips so for between £100 - £120 you can get some nice lenses in the 70mm - 300mm range :)

If I were you I would go for the last one myself as it is a nice lens for a nice price :)

Thanks muzz.
I did have a look yesterday but a lot of the lenses i fancy seem to be on order.
I really want to cover 28-35 and only go up to 200 max without IS as i alsos would use it in doors and only have a small flat and 55 is a bit large to start with.

Thanks ill have a look.
i noticed on 7day they had the Sigma 28-105mm f2.8/4 ASPHERICAL for £129, might go for that as it should be better in lowlight i guess.
