I need some advice in choosing the best flash available to the PowerShot Pro 1

I own thr Pro 1 since almost a year and I'm very haapy with the camera. I have expirienced at the beginning a lot of problmens but were mainly bad use of the camera than anything else. With the new firmware the camera is much better.

I need a flash for my picture mainly, family sitiations and general use. I was considering the Speedlite 420 EX or the 580 EX. Which will be better suited for the Pro 1 ?

Money is not a problem.

If money is no problem them the 580EX is the one. It has the higher Guide Number, that mean it'll go further distance wise.
