More on BG-E2

I'm planning to add the 20D to my arsenal, and have been shopping around for prices on the BG-E2. Can't find it listed on any of the camera store websites that I generally check. Went to Canon USA (the Canon Canada site links back to it for more info, etc) and checked the 20D products page. Clicking on the BG-E2 Buy Now link under supplies and accessories, I got a page saying Please Try Again ...This Product Is Not Available.
I know from previous postings that Canon fessed up to problems with the grip and planned to offer repairs.
Has anyone actually heard they are pulling the grip entirely from the market?

Found the grip at one of the local camera chains (must have miskeyed on a search), but it's still not showing up on the aforementioned site. Just curious.

I don't think they're pulling it entirely, just "repairing" them or something... from the sounds of things, though, the repairs they're doing still aren't exactly successful
