View Full Version : Do ALL new cameras sell out eventually?

I had an 870is from a few years back, and it was stolen. I'm looking to get another, because I don't like any of canon's new models as much as I liked my 870. Does anyone know if canon holds on to some of their older model camera's that didn't all sell? Or, do they all sell after a few months of the new models coming out?

Thanks for your help with such an odd question,

Ryan

You are probably stuck with looking on ebay for used ones.

I guess the short answer is YES, they all sell out. When the new models come out, they stop making the old ones and sellers discount the older models to clear inventory.
