Please help verify that I bought this filter: B+W 77 multi-coated 010 UV Haze (2C)

I bought this filter for my 5DMK2 from Adorama.com.

Based on my reading of customer reviews at Amazon.com, the inner ring of this filter should read:

010 UV-Haze MRC (2C)

However, the inner ring of the filter I got from Adorama.com reads:

010 UV-Haze 1x MRC

Did Adorama send me the right one I purchased?

I read this thread and it helps, but my question still remains.

Welcome to the forum. You don't buy a filter for the body (5DmkII). You buy one for the lens. So I'm assuming you bought the 5DII with the 24-105 kit lens. As far as the size is concern, yes, you got the right size. And B+w is also a good brand but i'm not familiar with that specific kind you got.

The filter I have on my 70-200 says the same thing "1x"

Right. The "1x" is the filter factor (i.e., no effect on the exposure). "(2C)" relates B+W's UV designation (010) to the Wratten system used by other filter makers.
