hey guys,
another from this past weeks camping trip
it was taken in JPG :( how can i lessen the exposure in PS CS on the rocks in the front ?

Well you go do it buy getting in the car, going back there and...
You could probably play with the curves a bit and make it less bright in the highlights.

Very nice shot. I don't mind the exposure of the rocks in front but you might try using the burn tool. It will darken them a little.

HA turns out i took this RAW + JPEG so i already did some white balance changes and it looks alot better.. ill post an updated version soon :)

:o my cheapo sigma 28-80 man i wish i could afford the 17-40L.. and the tamron 2.8 28-70 and hte canon 70-200 f4L :)

here is one that was taken from the raw..and i fixed the WB and burned the rocks a little man i hated burning in the real darkroom for black and white. :)
what do u guys think as the better the raw or the jpeg? raw is first jpeg second

To be honest, i vote for #2. :D
Sigma 28-80?:shock: If i had that lens and got a result like this, i'll call it "best-bang-for-the-buck" lens. ;)

hey ..thanks. its better than my 70-300 sigma thats for sure..
that one i keep trying to keep it under 300..roughly at 200 so i can get used to the little shorter reach for the day i get my 70-200L :)
do you think its over saturated? why dont u like it :)

I like the first one, but it seems to be a bit too yellowish to me. Maybe it's just because I was comparing it to the jpeg directly underneath. I like them both, though. :)

I really like the scene and the capture! Number one is to yellow and bright, but looks sharper! Number two seems too green, but I like the darker look.
