TRIPOD to suit canon SX1

Hi, was hoping members would be able to recommend a tripod/s to suit a Canon SX1 camera, am looking for something of good quality but does not need to be the best.Like it to reasonably portable for taking outside, travel etc. Have looked so far at the known brands such as Manfrotto, Giottos, Slik, Gitzo, Dolica etc. Plan to shoot sports, landscape and portrait as an amatuer. Thanks in advance for your help.

Look also at Feisol and Benro. The Manfrottos are the best for the money, but are on the heavy side.
