Today I had my stock Canon 18-55mm snap on me. Tough luck I guess.
Anyways, what is the best replacement for it. Since I am 16, I can only afford something up to about 250CAD (aprox 200 US). What is my best bet. I am looking for the same relative size (no primes) with a range betwee 18 to 70 mm. (18-55, 28-70 etc.)
Thanks in advance!

Your best bet is probably to buy a 2nd hand kit lens - you can't beat it for value. I can't think of anything else that would meet your requirements for that price, except maybe 2nd hand. The 50mm F1.8 at $80 or so would be a good buy, but it's not a zoom.

Well, I was looking at the: SIGMA 28-105MM 3.8-5.6 AF UC and it appeared to be exactly what I want. Does anyone have this? Im not a sucker for speed, mainly because I almost always shoot F8.

I have seen nice results taken with Sigma 18-125mm(US$289). There are a few fellow members here carry the lens. Read here http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=75967
