so my bro-in-law's GF gave birth on december 5th to a beautiful baby girl, unfortunately she suffered from meconium aspiration, not severe, but enough to have her hostage in the NICU for the first 6 days of her life....hopefully she will be released tomorrow, we cant wait to have her home. Babies are such joy.
anyways, this was a from their maternity shoot, ive shared these before.

I'm a 37 year old bloke, father of one, and these pictures have made me fill up. Absolutely lovely, I wish so much that I had been into photography (or at least more aware of its merits) during my wifes' pregnancy and subsequent birth of my daughter!
Lovely shots, the best of wishes to the proud parents :)

I'm glad she is doing OK!!
Since you asked... I'm not a fan of the 'cross processing' for the newborn shots. Also not a fan of the fisheye distortion. I know you're going for something different but I think something more subtle is needed for a newborn. Let the baby come through and be the star; not your technique. I do like the moment in #1 and it would look great in b/w.

completely understand, i usually dont use the fisheye for babies, however the day i visited the baby i had my 40d + 10mm on me, really had no choice , I will give the b&W a try when i get home tomorrow, your C&C is always appreciated. :-)
