S2 IS not working with 2500mah+ batteries?

hey everyone

I have the S2 IS and it seems to be picky about batteries

it works fine with alkalines and 2200mah rechargables

but it seems if their 2500mah or higher the camera wont accept them. it always says "change the batteries" and I've tried 3 different sets.

anyone else experienced this odd behavior? thanks

For years I had a S2 IS and it worked with 2300, 2500 and 2700 mAH batteries.

Are you shure that they are all good?

Try to test them in another camera or flash unit because that's impossible that
it work with 2300 mAH batteries and not with 2500 and higher power batteries.

If on one set one batterie is dead then the while set don't work.
