I've had this PowerShot A20 for a few years and have had great success with it. Unfortunately, I've lost the software (ZoomEx Browser I think) to retrieve the pictures. I have the default compactflash card with the pc adapter. My computer recognizes the new hardware and updates accordingly, but how do I get the pictures off the card without the program?

Have you tried a card reader?

I suppose you can get in touch with Canon tech-support 1 800 828-4040. They seem to be very helpful.

A card reader is a better, easier idea, and could be cheaper than getting replacement software too.
