Any suggestion on which camera case to get with the 20d. I like the idea of the Holster Case that I can carry on my belt, but since I have trouble keeping my pants up with the G2 in its holster case, I was wondering how the heavier 20d would be to carry like that. Or should I just stick to the Canon case and shoulder strap. Steve.

Just use the neck strap, once you get another lens it won't fit some bags anyway. Plus it's way too heavy to go on a belt. I put mine in a lowepro backpack when it's not over my shoulder.

How about a separate tool belt just for photo equipment? Lowepro makes one.

I use a Lowpro Zoom 2 for smaller lenses, and a Lowpro AW75 with chest harness fitted for the bigger heavier lenses, and this does take the strain off the neck.
I usuall carry around 2 cameras unless fell walking, one on my shoulder, one in one of the above bags, and a Lowpro mini treker on my back. I also have a Lowpro Pro Treker, can hardly lift it, never mind walk with it, now use it as my storage case for equipment. (it was a bad buy in my case)

From a personal perspective, I would not want to carry the camera body around in a case hooked to my belt. First off I think it is too heavy and bulky for that. Secondly I want the camera available at a moments notice. I always carry my camera with one of these straps: http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=62858 and I have a small Tamrack backpack for a couple of my lenses that I think I might use on the venture in question.
