An interesting piece of art, and I can see why the artist enjoys the result. All about colors, perhaps? It's a bit hard on my eyes, though. The main leaf, 2nd from the right, is sharp but the DOF doesn't make clear to my subconscious what my brain should be doing with the other leaves, what are the subjects and what is the background. Also, for posting the print on a wall, I'd like the main leaf not to be damaged.

You could do a 5x7 crop vertically on the two leaves.but the OOF foreground on that leaf somewhat is a spoiler.I do like drops on leaves though;)

Yes, the tighter crop does it for my eyes. Just beauty in rich colors. Nothing distracting. Makes me feel good to look at it. Thank you.

I have new glass ... A polarizer might saturate the colors a bit.

does a polarizer work in the rain? this was shot in non directional flat light

I prefer the original, the oof leaves balance the main leaves and give depth to the image where as in the crop, the oof leaves now seem to prominent. If I were to crop, I'd take just a little off the top just above the l/h corner middle leaf to create a nice triangle configuration.

does a polarizer work in the rain? I've seen it remove some of the blue reflections on overcast days. You just have to try it & see.

I really like it as well. Is it a vine of tree? Shots like that remind me of winery website graphics.
