G10/11 wide/telephoto adapters & printing quality?

Hi folks. I was wondering what those of you who have used the Canon and Raynox lens adapters could say about the quality of full-size images for professional printing. I have the G11, and I realize there is only so much resolution and sharpness I can get out of an image printed as large as 13" x 19" with the small sensor anyway. Is this a case where the extra MPs of the G10 could provide a little leeway in downsizing to make up for the compromise in using the lenses? And is any blurring toward edges and corners enough that cropping requires a smaller printing size anyway, thus negating their focal length advantages?
