This is someones front yard decoration. I took the picture from end on otherwise a house and a couple of cars would be in the bg. I shot it late afternoon.
This first is an hdr image then a b/w version. Comments welcome.

The dappled look from the light coming through the trees really makes the scene.

Great shot! I prefer the color version.
I like the way the leaves, twigs and other tree debris on the ground sort of compliments the rusty parts of the wagon- flows nicely

I thought I'd put up the side view cropped to eliminate the house and cars. I also made this hdr image look more...errr...hdr.

would be easy enough to clone out the cars and what not....I love the wagon..but that 2x4 really bugs me.

I can accept the 2 x 4, but the auto in the upper left corner is now much too obvious.
I'm a great fan of HDR used just to boost the middle tones and color saturation - not everyone agrees with that. For me, it is just another "filter" in the arsenal of tools for photo manipulation.
I think the B & W becomes pale in comparison with the color versions. In a contest limited to B & W photography it should do well - even better if the distractions in the background could be eliminated.
