Hi, this is a first post here.

I have a 300D that I use with a Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 Macro Super II. On the Sigma website it says that this lens can't be used with a teleconvertor but it doesn't say why not. I am new to DSLR's so I admit to not understanding the full workings of lenses etc. but what is there not to work on the teleconvertor?

Sorry, I have just noticed that this post probably belongs in the lenses section. Please can a moderator move it for me. Thanks.

Thread moved.. ;)

Take a look at the T-Con sticky at the top of the page.....

My first post will explain why it can't use standard T-cons.. and which lenses can...

BUT>>> Read on.. later in the thread you will read about certain off brand TCs that WILL function with your lens.. they may not work well.. that's the gamble,.. but they will at least FIT. ;)
