Had this posted in the People section, but figured it belonged here instead, so deleted the People thread and posted it here.

So, had a couple of very underexposed pics of my daughter. Figured I'd see what I could do with them. Not too bad at all. My wife loves them, but she's kinda biased :p . Figured I'd see what you guys think of the results. Since I had to up the exposure so much in ACR, they did come out somewhat grainy, but I actually don't mind.

The first is an example of what I had to start with, and the next two are where I ended up.

Well, this shot wasn't really 'set-up'. She was lying on her belly on her changing table, looking towards the window, which would have been left and behind her a bit. The light was hitting her just right and I thought I'd snap a few quick pictures. As you can see from pic 1, they were quite dark, but I thought I could make something from them... as you can see in 2 and 3, it didn't turn out too badly.

Now, if I set this up properly, I'd probably set a flash in place of the slight natural light I was getting through the window. However, since she seemed to be having so much fun, I just went with what I had available at the time to try and capture the moment.
