G11 - no 3:2 aspect ratio?

Is that right? Did they remove the 3:2 aspect ratio that the G10 had? Why would they do that?

Well, you can get exactly the same thing by cropping it yourself later, but after checking the manuals for both, I don't see any mention of 3:2 for either. They both offer 16:9 (W).

That's correct, it's a bummer. You can however add a 3:2 crop overlay on the display though.
