It was just getting dark, and I thought the reflection of the sunset off the clouds and water worked just right. CC welcome.

It's amazing that her skin tone totally maches the color of the sky!
At least on my monitor anyway!

Are you using an OmniBounce over your flash btw??

Yes, I used an OmniBounce. I did not notice how close the sky colors were when I took the shot, but was very pleasantly surprised when I downloaded the picture. I guess sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

And I thought your lighting looked to good to just be a direct flash. This shot looks like it could have been in a studio with that sky as a back drop.
