Thanks Dandaman! Yep... shot quite a bit from the inside of the track with the 300mm (although the last (sunny) pic was with the 70-200) - I'm starting to prefer using the longer glass for this sport.

ahhhh...that last shot is where it is at. from the mud covered outside foot to the perfect mud spray filling the background, its great! the spokes have just enough blur in them to give the sensation of speed and the color is fabolous thanx to that low hangin sun. good stuff as always gavin ;)

Cheers Jody... That was shot on my old 1D - it always seems to produce nice colours straight out of the camera even in tough WB-challenging conditions.
